Janise Cooper is an award winning interior designer with four decades of experience in fine residential and four-star hospitality interior design. She has worked extensively on projects throughout North America, China, Korea, Japan, and Europe including hotels, restaurants, clubs and private residences. She has collaborated with the best designers of the world.

 As senior designer with Howard Hirsch, she helped formulate the original concept of the first Park Hyatt in Chicago, then all the Hyatts during the great growth of that chain, joining the then new firm of Barry Design onto its zenith. She also joined other Hirsch alums such as Lou Cataffo and Glenn Texeira to their firms as long term consultants, and Jerry Beale to Wilson Associates and then recently as he went back on his own after his tenure to Wynn. She spent over fifteen years with the late Harold Thompson on Asian projects and then Robert Hseuh / HFS Concepts 4 in Taipei and Shanghai.

She first met Todd Lenahan when he was a client to Anita Brooks for the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge before he bought that firm, and he then hired her as consultant years under TAL studio later to assist on another Wynn project. She spent almost a year living in Shenzhen working on dozens of hotels for Cheng/Chung CCD, the most notable the Ritz Carlton Chengdu.

 Her talents as a color stylist are legendary, as well as attention to detail and custom work for furnishings, carpets, and producing bid packages. Her landmark projects by her own firm include Loews Giorgio Hotel in Denver, The London Club in the former Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, and numerous Putters Bar and Grills in Las Vegas. Her residences include a custom home for Tim and Lisa Herbst, Patty and Marc Brutten, and renovation for Carolyn Radebaugh as well as countless smaller homes.

Well known collaborations include The Regent Beverly Hills, Caesars Palace Spa Towers, Walker Hill Pusan Korea, and two homes with Elaine Wynn.
